Strietzel and Babka Class

Strietzel is a plaited bread made with a slightly sweet enriched dough containing egg, butter and milk. It has a lovely soft texture and is delicious slathered with cold butter and your favourite jam. Babka is a cross between a cake and bread, with enriched dough swirled with brown sugar and cinnamon or chocolate. A tasty breakfast or teatime treat!

A vegetarian lunch is provided and there’s also lots of baked treats to try too! You’ll also receive a detailed instruction booklet with the recipes and the zopf and babka you bake on the day to take home and enjoy.

The class runs from 10am to approximately 4pm at our home just outside Newark-on-Trent.

The class size is limited to a maximum of four people.

Price: £130 per person

Includes: all of the baked goods, detailed instructions with recipes, vegetarian lunch and refreshments.
